Hi Susan, I’m not sure why it would stay runny. I make this fudge every year and just made it again yesterday and it was perfect. Once it gets to the boiling state, it needs to boil for 8-9 minutes and needs to be stirred constantly. I hope she tries the recipe again because like I’ve mentioned, I make this every year and it never has been runny.
