Ingredients
Instructions
- Using a large skillet oven medium heat or electric griddle heat to 350°.
- Melt a tablespoon of butter in skillet or on griddle.
- In a large shallow bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon together.
- Soak the bread one at a time into egg mixture, flip over and soak the other side.
- Place about 4 thick slices at a time into pan, or an amount that will fit in the skillet or on the griddle.
- Cook until golden brown on both sides, a few minutes per side.
- Add the remaining butter, repeat the process and continue until all the bread has been used or egg mixture has been used.
- Remove from pan and add toppings of your choice.
- Optional: top with butter, maple syrup, brown sugar, powdered sugar.

- Refrigerate for up to 5 days in an airtight container.
- Wrap individual slices in plastic wrap and freeze them for up to 3 months in an airtight, freezer-safe container or heavy-duty freezer bag.
