Hi Judy, yes, wait to add any of the chocolate candies or pretzels until after the chocolate covered, powdered sugared covered cereal has cooled. Then add all the chocolate candies when ready to serve. It definitely would be a chocolate mess if it was added while the cereal was still hot.

Hi Christy, Once the cereal is coated with the chocolate and then the powdered sugar, you spread in out on a baking sheet in a single layer and let it cool. When you are ready to serve, just all off the goodies. I hope you enjoy this recipe. :)

I would not add any of the m&m’s eggs or pretzels until after all is mixed and powdered sugar sprinkled over mix. Other wise the colored candies are all chocolate coated and results are a muddy mess. Flavor. Ok
