Place leftover brisket fried rice in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to three days. To reheat, simply add a little water to it and microwave for 3-5 minutes or until it is heated through, pausing every 30-40 seconds to stir.
Tips
- Dice your brisket into small pieces for a classic fried rice texture.
- If you have the time, cook your rice the day before. Day-old rice works better.
- Although any rice can work, long- or medium-grain rice, such as Jasmine, is best.
- Be sure to cook the fried rice on medium-low heat. All you need to do is heat it through.
- To prevent stinging eyes when chopping onions, refrigerate them for about 30 minutes first.
