If you love complete meals that are ready in a flash, then this is the recipe for you. I’ve been making this one pretty much since I got my first air fryer. It was originally a sheet pan recipe that I converted to an air fryer variation, and I never looked back. My sheet pan hasn’t seen this combination of sausage and vegetables in years! Tender, smoked sausage, green beans, and potatoes make a hearty meal, and using the air fryer makes it so fast! It’s a fantastic recipe for busy nights or feeding a big family.

Easy Sausage, Potato and Green Bean Recipe

This easy recipe combines smoked sausage, quartered baby creamer potatoes, and canned green beans, with black pepper and Cajun seasoning. That’s it. This simple combo delivers big flavor, though. I mix it all together, air fry it for less than 15 minutes, and then it goes on the table. It doesn’t get simpler or more delicious than this one, folks!

Why You’ll Love These Sausage Potatoes and Green Beans

  • It’s a quick and easy meal and the air fryer does all the work. Just add the ingredients and in about 15 minutes, you will have a complete meal.
  • It’s healthier to cook in the air fryer and is a great option for getting dinner on the table in a matter of minutes.
  • It is absolutely delicious and the sausage, potatoes, and green beans are cooked to perfection. The sausage has crispy edges, the potatoes are tender and the green beans are heated through.
  • It is super flavorful and the combination of smoked sausage, potatoes, and green beans is simply irresistible.

Sausage Potatoes and Green Beans Ingredients

You’ll only need a few basic ingredients to make this recipe. You’ll find them all quickly and easily at your local grocery store.

  • Smoked Sausage adds a smoky, robust flavor to the dish.
  • Baby Creamer Potatoes provides a starchy base and also absorbs the flavors of the other ingredients.
  • Green Beans adds a delicious veggie to the dish and a pop of color.
  • Slap Ya Mama Seasoning is a family favorite seasoning that enhances the flavor.
  • Black Pepper adds additional flavor to the dish.
  • Olive Oil helps bind the seasonings to the vegetables and sausage, and prevents sticking.

How to Make Sausage Potatoes and Green Beans in the Air Fryer

Step 1: Season the Potatoes and Sausage

Toss the potatoes with olive oil in a large bowl. Then, add the seasonings and sausage slices. Stir.

Step 2: Air Fry

Place the potatoes and sausage in the air fryer basket and cook at 375 for 8 minutes. Stir the mixture, add the green beans, and cook for another 5 minutes.

Recipe Tips

  • Preheat your air fryer for even cooking and accurate cook time.
  • Slice the sausage into ¼-inch slices so they cook evenly with the potatoes.
  • Be sure you wait to add your green beans until later so they don’t get mushy.

Variations

  • You can use fresh green beans if you like. Simply add them to the mixture and cook them along with the other ingredients from the beginning.
  • For more flavor, add garlic cloves.
  • For an added kick of heat and flavor, add a little cayenne or red pepper flakes.

Yes, I finally made a meal in my air fryer!!! Let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised. Sausage and potatoes is one of my favorite dishes and I had everything already here. It was easy and quick just the way I like it. Next time I will have to cut my potatoes smaller or cook them longer before adding the sausage. Thank you for this recipe.
